Design Assistant

Jess Lea is seeking for a full-time detail-oriented, friendly & organized Design Assistant. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards & assist the design team. This is a full-time position. Come work at our fast-growing company with a fun work environment!

• Keep samples organized
• Assist in creating design orders and sample notes
• Complete retail returns
• Complete weekly line sheets for wholesale launch
• Measure new styles and create size charts
• Assist in preparing for markets
• Checking packing slips against ordered inventory
• Assist in creating trend reports
• Creating barcodes for new products
• Rebagging and tagging products to be returned to warehouse
• Add products to Shopify
• Help team prepare for photoshoots & travel
• Help prepare outfits for photoshoots
• Demonstrates a passion for fashion by understanding trends
• Assist Jess Lea team with any additional tasks needed
• Preparing meeting and training rooms for design meetings
• Keep fabrics organized
• Assist in maintaining third party platforms
• Source new manufacturers
• Send invoices
• Assist with virtual meetings
• Manage Dropbox

• Ability to work well under limited supervision
• Must be available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
• Reliable transportation

  Fashion Merchandising or a related field preferred
