This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Magnolia, TX, for an Engineer Designer. The Engineer Designer will be responsible for developing detailed engineering designs and specifications, creating product models using Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure product functionality and compliance. Additional responsibilities include optimizing mechanical and electrical designsòmasyon for manufacturing, providing technical support, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.

• Expertise in Design Engineering, Product Design, and experience with creating innovative and reliable designs
• Proficiency in Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools and technologies to develop detailed technical drawings and models
• In‑depth knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, including structural and durability considerations
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and ability to design electrical components or systems
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and team collaboration skills
• Ability to interpret engineering codes, standards, and specifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered
• Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is an advantage.

Create new submittal drawings, in Solidworks, print packages and revisions to existing files as directed by the Engineering Manager. Communicate with Bison’s sales team and/or the customer to ensure the product meets the required specifications. Understand production capabilities to ensure product can be produced. Assure all projects comply within Bison’s ISO 9001 guidelines and processes.

• Ability to design sheet metal enclosures, some structural drawings, special designs enclosures from customer requirements and specifications.
• Produce accurate submittal drawings for customer's approval.
• Produce accurate production drawings in the flat layout by using material Bend Deductions.
• Generate accurate BOM's for each new project.
• Ordering of materials as required perальної project.
• Ability to check other drawings within the Engineering department.
• Ability to comprehend programming process functions for CNC turret punches, laser’s and press brake equipment and tooling.
• Ability to interface with customers on a professional level.
• Ability to interface with co‑workers and shop personnel on a professional level.
• Understand the manufacturing of precision sheet metal fabrication in a production shop environment.
• Ability to multitask and meet scheduled completion dates within a timely manner.
