Our team works closely with contractors and developers to ensure projects remain compliant with environmental regulations while maintaining efficient jobsite operations.
We are seeking an experienced SWPPP Manager to oversee stormwater pollution prevention plans and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple construction sites.
Position Overview:The SWPPP Manager will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) on construction projects. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations while coordinating with project teams to maintain effective erosion and sediment control measures.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of construction site environmental compliance, is detail-oriented, and can effectively communicate with contractors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).
- Conduct routine site inspections to verify erosion and sediment control measures are properly installed and maintained.
- Document inspection reports, compliance logs, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and field teams to ensure SWPPP compliance.
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure projects comply with EPA, TCEQ, and local stormwater regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.
- Train field personnel on proper erosion control and SWPPP requirements.
- Monitor installation and maintenance of BMPs (Best Management Practices).
- Experience managing or inspecting SWPPP programs on construction projects
- Strong understanding of stormwater regulations and environmental compliance
- Familiarity with TCEQ Construction General Permit requirements
- Ability to conduct site inspections and produce detailed reports
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
- Certified CPESC, CESSWI, or equivalent stormwater experience
- Background in civil construction, environmental science, or related field
- Experience working with contractors and developers on active job sites
