EHC is seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager for an industrial construction services provider located in Magnolia, Texas.

Candidates must be located in The Woodlands, Magnolia, Tomball, Conroe or Spring, TX areas. This position will be based in Magnolia, TX.

• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to keep projects on track and on budget.
• Handle procurement — from materials and equipment to subcontractor services.
• Review and process submittals, schedules, and project documentation.
• Negotiate proposals with subcontractors and vendors to get the best value.
• Visit job sites to verify design intent, monitor safety, and track progress.
• Review drawings and coordinate with the design team to resolve issues before they become problems.
• Take meeting notes, publish minutes, and keep the team aligned.
• Maintain organized project logs and documentation.
• Assist with contract administration and change order management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• A strong work ethic and the drive to learn from the best.
• General understanding of construction principles and practices.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities without missing deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
