Overview
NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is looking for full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Magnolia, TX area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. Focus on undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks.
- Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

- Minimum requirements:
at least 18 years old; legally authorized to work in the United States. - 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
- Preferred: state inspection license(s); ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
- Physical requirements:
ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements; regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
