Kids First serves children with special healthcare needs from six weeks to five years of age in our pediatric day healthcare clinics. Children with medical conditions that place them at risk for developmental delays and disabilities receive intensive, individualized intervention and care.

The Child Development Technician (CDT) plays an important role in this mission by assisting the Early Childhood Development Specialist in providing daily care, developmental support, and interventions for children birth through age five with special medical needs and developmental delays. This position supports a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that promotes growth and well-being for each child and their family.

• High School Diploma or GED PLUS six (6) months experience working in the care of children; additional education including CCOT, CDA, AA, or Bachelor s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field may be substituted for the experience requirement.
