Position: Adult Education Instructor-Magnolia (Part-time)

Part Time Adult Ed Instructor (Magnolia location)

The adult education instructor works under general supervision and is responsible for instructing students in the classroom. This position is governed by agency/institution policy.

Responsibilities
  • Teach basic skills (reading, writing, and language)
  • Prepare students for the GED® exam
  • Create an engaging and interactive classroom
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual students.
  • Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills.
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes active participation, critical thinking, and creativity.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods, materials, and technology to engage students and enhance their learning.
  • Continuously evaluate class performance and provide input on program improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education

Bachelor’s Degree with current Arkansas teaching license or Master’s degree in math or science
