As a Senior Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst - Level 4 you will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Our Senior Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (shortened as "Material Cost Management Analyst") will be primarily responsible for establishing and monitoring budgets and schedules for direct contract work on various aerospace programs. An ideal candidate will also provide meaningful guidelines for the program and supply chain functions in order to execute the program to cost and schedule targets.

You and your team of peers will assist the programs with financial analyses such as budget vs actuals, estimated cost at completion, funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting, and variance analysis. The team will also monitor contract budget and support adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, prepare expenditure projections and support timely requests for additional funding to the government.

This position will be based out of Magna, Utah (Bacchus Plant). This position is a non-telecommuting role. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the following:
Business cadence and reporting objectives:
* Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete

* Maintain the accuracy of the managed WBS structures (or Control Accounts) through recurring monthly status of activities, manual adjustment entries, and analyzing resulting variances to budget

* Provide support to internal surveillance to include analysis of program performance, monitoring the Estimate to Complete (ETC) and program Estimate at Complete (EAC), review of Variance Analysis Reports (VARs) and Change Requests (CRs) Business strategy and compliance objectives:
* Integrated with the program and other functional teams (i.e. supply chain management) to assist in the reconciliation of data facilitating an avenue for recommendations to program management/teams to include corrective actions

* Support internal and external audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support

* Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
* Apply knowledge of the DCMA data driven Earned Value Management Systems compliance process and current policy Cross-functional leadership objectives:
* Work cross-functionally with other departments (program office, finance, supply chain, etc) to effectively execute critical transaction needs.

* Ability to facilitate training sessions as needed to support programs on various Earned Value Topics
