West Valley City, UT – Salary: $60,000 – $100,000 per year.

Jobot seeks a New Graduate Project Engineer to support the Senior Project Manager and Principal Project Engineer on high‑rise, podium, and garden‑style construction projects valued at $75–$250 million. The role involves coordinating schedule management, RFIs, contract compliance, submittals, material delivery, log maintenance, and reporting. The position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager and will play a leading role in quality management and safety coordination.

• Assist in proactively managing and controlling project expenses, including owner and subcontractor billings.
• Support project office functions and tasks necessary to ensure completion on schedule and within budget.
• Establish procedures for controlling contract drawings and initiate set‑up of the job management system.
• Participate in constructability reviews of construction documentation.
• Help prepare subcontractor scopes of work, bid package development, and identification and solicitation of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the site utilization plan.
• Assist the Project Manager/Superintendent in reviewing and coordinating the Project Safety, Loss Prevention, and Quality Control program.
• Manage pre‑work subcontractor orientation meetings, ensuring completion of documentation for each subcontractor (material deliveries, site‑specific safety, and quality issues).
• Manage submittal and RFI logs and coordinate distribution of drawings with subcontractors and the Superintendent.
• Review and process all submittal data and shop drawings to ensure project schedules are expedited and materials delivered on time.
• Serve as the onsite quality manager for assigned trades, scheduling and verifying subcontractor deliveries meet approved submittal requirements.
• Attend and participate in meetings with Architect/Engineer, owner representatives, and provide progress reports and meeting minutes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of project engineer experience and 4 years of construction‑related trade experience.

• Competitive base salary: $80,000 – $100,000.
