Duration: 3 months with extension possible.

• Opening/closing premises, monitoring activity, operating security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring a safe environment.
• Replacing lighting, reporting defects in fire safety equipment, and assisting maintenance teams with minor repairs.
• Overseeing cleanliness of facilities and grounds, including litter management, grass cutting, and clearing pathways of snow/ice.
• Managing deliveries, prepare rooms for exams/events, maintain communal areas, and assist in inter-campus deliveries.
• Recording maintenance and safety checks, report equipment defects, and monitor contractor access.

• GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or above) or satisfactory performance in College in-house tests.
• Minimum 6 months in an Caretaker / Estates-related role, with experience in Securing premises, Grounds maintenance and Area cleaning
• Basic Health & Safety at Work Certificate (Level
  1) or equivalent experience in PPE, COSHH, Lone Working, Manual Handling, Risk Assessments, and Hazard Awareness.
• The successful candidate will need to be Enhanced Access NI cleared.

Shift patterns:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday - 07:45- 15:45, Tuesday - 07:45-15:45 or 14:00-22:00, Friday - 07:45-14:15 or 10:00-16:30
