Management Accountant - £40,000+

Key Duties:

Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and detailed variance analysis. Deliver clear weekly and monthly performance updates covering margins, cost movements, overheads and operational trends. Ensure financial data is recorded accurately, controls are maintained, and internal procedures are consistently followed. Contribute to board and senior leadership reporting packs as required. Coordinate the annual budgeting process across multiple departments.

Produce rolling forecasts and provide scenario modelling to support strategic planning and decision-making. Partner with operational teams to analyse key cost drivers such as labour efficiency, yield, waste and production performance. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant Highly numerate with strong analytical capability and confident using Excel to an advanced level. Comfortable producing accurate, well-structured financial information to strict deadlines. Strong communicator, able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and explain financial matters clearly. Well organised with a meticulous approach and close attention to detail. Commercially minded, with the ability to translate operational activity into meaningful financial insight.
