Overview

FP McCann, a leading manufacturer of precast concrete solutions and one of Northern Ireland's top 10 businesses, is searching for a talented Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic and innovative team in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to elevate our brand and visual communications across all platforms.

• Lead the design and production of all marketing collateral, including brochures, promotional materials, and digital assets.
• Develop and maintain a consistent and compelling brand identity across all company communications.
• Create engaging visual content for the company website, social media channels, and other digital platforms.
• Design and produce materials for trade shows and events, including banners, exhibition displays, and presentations.
• Manage the design process from initial concept through to final artwork, ensuring all work is delivered to a high standard and on schedule.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments to develop creative solutions that meet business objectives.
• Mentor and guide junior design staff, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
• Manage and maintain the company's digital asset library and brand guidelines.

• A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a graphic design role, either in-house or with an agency.
• An outstanding portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Proven experience in managing multiple design projects concurrently and meeting tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to stakeholders.
• A strategic and creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.
• Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience with web design, including a working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with 3D design software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender).
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation.
  • Photography and photo editing skills.
