We’re currently recruiting for Full time 32 hours or 40 hours - Bookmakers Clerks in the Maghera/Kilrea/Toome Area
.

This is an entry level position and we are keen for all staff to progress quickly. Training will be provided to ensure confidence in all aspects of independently running a successful betting shop.

• Processing bets and assisting with customer queries
• Working as part of a team to assist the day-to-day running of the shop
• Building relationships with customers and making them feel at home by delivering excellent customer service
• Maintaining high shop standards

Shop hours are Monday‑Sunday, 9am‑9pm and contracted hours will be allocated on a weekly rota basis.

Toals is a family‑run business, established in 1932 in Ballymena, with 50+ shops across every county in Northern Ireland. We offer a telephone betting service available 7 days a week and maintain a strong relationship with the local community by sponsoring the Co. Antrim FA.

• Full UK clean driving licence
• Previous experience in a customer‑facing role; or
• Previous experience with cash handling
• Good communicator
• Flexible – as our business operates 7 days a week
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Enthusiastic people person
• Reliable and hands‑on team member

• Demonstrable IT skills
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
