ESL English Teacher for Children – Madrid, Spain
Canterbury English is seeking dynamic and motivated ESL teachers for children who wish to live and work in Madrid, Spain. The ideal candidate has a strong command of the English language, a creative teaching style, and enthusiasm for working with young learners. Previous ESL teaching experience is an advantage but not essential.
Founded in 1991, Canterbury English is a well-established language academy with over 30 years of experience and multiple awards for excellence in English language teaching. The academy has provided teaching opportunities to more than 7,500 teachers from around the world.
This is a full-time, on-site position. Upon arrival in Madrid, teachers begin teaching paid classes immediately and sign a contract on their first day at the work orientation. Canterbury English also collaborates with over 125 partner schools to offer additional teaching hours. Teachers receive guidance on finding private students, online teaching opportunities, and assistant positions in junior high and high schools. Summer school placements are also available.
