Role Profile: AM Outside Sales with confirmed sales successful experience in B2B
SummaryThe role of the Account Manager is to be an entrepreneur responsible for growth and success in market development, application opportunities, new customer base development, and growth of existing customers. The AM will have the ability to develop internal and external networking, collecting and sharing information about market, customer, competitor, etc. using recognized tools. The AM has a strong experience in sales within the industries related to gas & water applications.
(Other duties will be assigned as required)
Responsibilities- Responsible for sales growth and annual goals within the industries focus, using strategies to ensure sales and margin goals are reached
- Responsible for the account incl. the coordination of all communication to the customer and all relevant sales documents.
- Negotiation of commercial and project conditions and closing the sales.
- Drive the specifications of Burkert Solutions at OEMs, Engineering, Integrators and Corporate level companies.
- Monitors and gives feedback regarding progress of important customer projects to multiply local success
- Represents the company in a professional way (ambassador)

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, the AM must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Applicant should be willing to travel.
Education and Experience- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent certified completed technical training courses
- 3+ years of sales and technical experience in the specific market required
- Strong customer focus and attention to detail
- Day-to-day work activities are prioritized appropriately within work routines
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills
- Able to work closely within a team and contribute individually
- Ability and motivation to self-train for continued growth
- Problem-solving ability means the ability to analyze problems and on that basis find alternative solutions, and to evaluate and successfully put those solutions into practice.
