We are seeking a Sales Manager to grow our paper business across Spain and Portugal
. This opportunity is ideal for commercial professionals currently working within the paper and paperboard industry
, including producers, merchants, distributors/traders or converters, who are looking to represent a global producer with strong production scale and international market reach.

, includes:
- Thermal Paper
- Coated Woodfree Paper
- Woodfree Paper
- PPC Paper
- Specialty Paper Grades
- Sales Development: Manage and grow a portfolio of customers across Spain and Portugal.
- Business Growth: Identify new opportunities with paper merchants, distributors/traders, converters, and commercial printers.
- Customer Relationships: Build long-term partnerships while ensuring high levels of service and responsiveness.
- Commercial Negotiation: Manage pricing discussions and contractual agreements with customers.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer demand across the regional market.
- International Trade: Handle export sales structures including Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DAP, DDP) and international payment methods such as Letters of Credit.
- Travel: Frequent travel across Spain and Portugal to support customer relationships and business development.
- Experience: 2–7 years within the paper or paperboard industry
, in a commercial or sales role. - Industry Knowledge: Understanding of paper grades such as Woodfree Paper, Coated Woodfree Paper, PPC, Thermal Paper and Specialty Papers.
- Commercial
Skills:
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building capabilities. - Trade Knowledge: Familiarity with international trade terms and export documentation.
- Education: Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Paper Technology, or related field preferred.
- The successful candidate will be appointed through Vintage Paper, APP’s exclusive global network partner.
- Depending on experience and commercial track record, the successful candidate will be appointed as either Sales Executive or Sales Manager.
