Account Manager Southern Europe

As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of significant B2B partnerships within the Southern Europe region, analyzing business and operational performance to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.

What you’ll do
  • Lead account planning, forecasting and account strategy execution
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, sharing best practices across teams and regions
  • Maintain and develop excellent partner relationships at all levels
  • Successfully manage key partner negotiations and re‑negotiations
  • Build strong relationships with partner account teams, including key buyers and decision makers at all levels
  • Create and drive opportunities to grow partner revenue and share of wallet
  • Recommend products, services and insights that meet partners’ needs
  • Demonstrate awareness of the policies, practices, trends and competitive landscape that impact Expedia B2B and its partners
  • Show strong understanding of the financial impact of decisions and solutions on Expedia B2B and partners
  • Build and drive internal and external business cases to support change and new opportunities
  • Acquire and maintain working knowledge of financial data and standard contract terms and conditions
  • Know when to partner with Legal to modify or adjust standard contract terms
  • Learn and apply the contract negotiation process and complete contractual arrangements end‑to‑end
  • Conduct straightforward cost–benefit and risk analyses of possible solutions and of the implications of not reaching agreement
  • Identify and actively engage internal and external stakeholders in decision making and strategies that benefit both account and organization; close deals effectively
  • Build a solid working knowledge of Expedia B2B products, technologies and commercial offerings
  • Develop an understanding of competitors’ standard products and services
  • Apply Expedia B2B products, technologies and offerings in an insightful, consultative way to partner needs
  • Develop understanding of the customer’s industry and competitive market
  • Learn and use key performance metrics to assess products, services and solutions against partner needs and expectations
  • Develop value proposition statements, case studies and narratives that demonstrate the value of Expedia B2B solutions
  • Understand and clearly report partner business issues and opportunities through the appropriate internal channels
Who you are
  • Proficient in both English and Spanish. Any other European language will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of how the Account Management function operates and fits into the wider Expedia B2B organization
