• Deliver rigorous economic analysis using microeconomics, industrial organisation, and advanced quantitative methods.
• Lead work streams within major competition projects designing methodologies, running econometric and simulation models, and interpreting results.

• Contribute to thought leadership through articles, papers, and industry insights.
• Support business development and stay ahead of competition policy trends.
• Represent Oxera at industry events and share knowledge internally.

• Strong academic background in Economics (Master’s preferred) or related fields like Econometrics.
• Experience in economic consulting, a competition authority, or academia focused on competition economics.
• Proficiency in quantitative tools (Stata, R, Python or similar).
• Solid understanding of antitrust, mergers, and regulatory economics.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; other European languages are a plus.
