ABOUT CRAG:
CRAG is an independent research institution engaged in leading-edge basic and applied plant and farm animal sciences. CRAG is established as a Consortium of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and University of Barcelona (UB). The Center is located at the UAB Campus, and currently hosts 200 members from across the world.
The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) is looking for a Postdoc Researcher to be part of the group Epigenetics and Plant Development.
We are looking for a highly talented and creative new team member with a strong interest in epigenetics and plant development. The postdoctoral scientist is expected to conduct innovative research to investigate responses to cold temperature in
woodland strawberry.
The tasks are included within the framework of the project EPICHILL (CNS “Unravelling the epigenome dynamics underlying plant responses to cold temperatures”.

Skills/Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Educational requirements:
PhD in Plant Biology or related field.
Skills:
- A strong background in chromatin biology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Demonstrable scientific success in previous roles
Experience:
- Handling of strawberry plants - desirable
- Experience in ChIP-seq data analysis – desirable
