Responsibilities- Lead design management across complex projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- Set priorities for the design team, monitor progress, and resolve bottlenecks issues.
- Oversee component release processes, ensuring compliance with Managing Composites’ design standards.
- Review designs for feasibility, manufacturability, and implementation, identifying critical points and proposing solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
- Select materials and technologies aligned with supplier capabilities and project requirements.
- Compile and apply relevant technical regulations, standards, and norms.
- Analyse and resolve quality issues using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D).
- Contribute to the development of new processes and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Conduct research and gather technical information from articles and datasheets.
- Visit clients and suppliers when necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering within an industrial or automotive environment.
- Proficiency in Fusion 360, CATIA, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in planning development activities.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Advanced organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Proactive, hands‑on approach and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of composites and CATIA V5.
- Familiarity with Kanban and Agile methodologies.
