At Ferrovial Digital Infrastructure (FDI), we specialize in the development of data center assets, from powered‑land search and acquisition to DC design, construction, operation & maintenance, and we are always looking for the most efficient and sustainable solutions. FDI has acquired a land plot for the development of a Data Center, and we are seeking an experienced and strategic Engineering PM to overview, coordinate and manage the project, construction, and engineering as well as to provide direction, analysis and resolution of engineering challenges for our future facility in Madrid.

The role may require assistance to FDI Projects Development Team within the Business Development and Strategy related activities. We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager with solid experience in the technical management of Data Centre projects. You will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination and supervision of all engineering disciplines involved in the design and construction of critical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with technical standards, deadlines and budgets, and providing support and reporting to the Head of Projects Development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large‑scale construction projects from a construction angle with focus on data centers, critical infrastructure, and innovative solutions. This role requires hands‑on project oversight during the construction phase, the final of the project, and the managing of the ready for services with the customer.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in construction projects, especially in leadership roles in data centre projects in the construction phase.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Technical & Cost management and planning skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Construction or related field is ideal.
• Previous experience in the construction sector and specifically in data center projects and / or large tertiary & industrial construction projects where MEP systems play a vital role will be highly valued.
