Responsibilities

As Associate Director, you will play a central role of the management of IE SPEGA's master programs — working closely with students, faculty, and a broad network of institutional and industry partners to ensure the program delivers on its academic and professional promise.

Responsibilities

Your role as Associate Director will involve, but is not limited to:

Program Leadership & Student Experience

  • Take ownership of the student journey, from onboarding through graduation, ensuring a rigorous and rewarding experience at every stage
  • Manage high-impact transversal projects such as international immersion weeks, dual degrees, capstone projects, and global exchange programs.
  • Manage complex and sensitive student cases with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.

Stakeholder & Partner Relations

  • Maintain strong relationships with faculty, institutional partners, and service providers, keeping all parties aligned and engaged.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for students through daily interaction, presentations, and information sessions.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement new initiatives that push the boundaries of traditional education.
  • Analyze survey data and program feedback to continuously raise the bar on quality and execution.
  • Apply and regularly review best practices and internal policies to keep operations sharp and efficient.

Reporting

  • Support the preparation of annual reports for the Ministry of Education, contributing to IE SPEGA's institutional accountability and visibility.
Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from a top University is desirable.
  • Good organizational skills. Attention to detail.
  • Fluency (written & oral) in English and Spanish is a must.
  • Minimum of 5 years of operations and/or project management experience.
  • Good knowledge of the Higher Education industry.
  • Occasional international travel.
  • Excellent communication skills is a must.
