We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid, IE Tower.
ResponsibilitiesYour role as a Associate Director will involve:
- Assist and report to the CGC’s Director and Executive Director.
- Design and implement projects autonomously with minimum supervision (coordination of research programs, design of outreach initiatives, organization of events, selection of researchers and experts, etc.).
- Research and publish on issues of interest for the CGC.
- Possibly appear in media on behalf of the CGC.
- Draft research and training proposals and engage new partners to drive commercial growth and partnerships for the Center.
- Implement and monitor the CGC’s day‑to‑day activities (events, publications, communications, etc.).
- Coordinate staff from different IE departments that provide services to the CGC (Communications, Marketing, etc.) and manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors.
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets.
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Five years of project management experience or similar relevant experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Enthusiasm to become part of the IE community.
- Strong interest in innovation and technology as a driver of change.
- Experience in the policy realm, notably in the spaces of innovation and technology.
- Proven track record working with clients and/or partners.
- Executive skills encompass strong numerical, analytical, and operational abilities.
- Outstanding writing abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills, especially prioritization and proactivity.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and communication abilities.
Digital skills:
Linked In, web (Thesaurus), data visualization (Tableau, Python), etc. - Bachelor’s degree.
