Job descriptionAs Training Specialist, you deliver training and other services at an operational level. Some of your main responsibilities will be:
- To manage and deliver training in accordance with plans, by acting as Teacher, Course supervisor and Instructor
- To take part in other tasks related to training and/or EPNS responsibilities (internal projects, consultancy services, administration etc)
- To train and support other Training Specialists in their introduction and work as Course Supervisor, Instructor or Teacher
- When needed, take the role as a Development Specialist
- To note and act on any identified areas or details in need of improvements to be rectified. This also includes any suggestions on improvements to the processes and activities
- To deliver training according to above, on any of EPN Group delivery sites
This role will include travel, primarily to other EPN Group sites.
Your teamYou will be part of a team consisting of the Head of Training, other Training Specialists and Instructors, a System & Training Coordinator, and a Training Administrator.

Your backgroundWe are looking for someone who:
- has a background as Air Traffic Controller and a minimum of three years operational experience
- has a 340 ATCO-license with APS rating and multiple ratings being an advantage
- has at least three years of operational experience and knowledge in subjects related to Air Traffic Management (ATM), such as but not limited to: ATM, Aviation Law, Meteorology, Navigation, Aircraft, Human Factors, Equipment and Systems and Professional Environment
- preferably with experience as instructor in an ATC unit
- it is an advantage to have experience in the pedagogical field
- is fluent in using and teaching in English, orally and in writing
- with common knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Knowledge in Spanish is an advantage. Furthermore, you have a positive and flexible approach and you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where no two days are alike. You are familiar working with different types of software as well as hardware and find it easy to learn new systems.
