As Senior Software Developer SAP BW ABAP, your main functions and responsibilities will be:

• Take hands‑on responsibility for the reliable operation and maintenance of the bank’s data warehouse platform based on SAP BW/4
  
  HANA.
• Design and implement robust data models and data flows in SAP BW (e.g., ADSOs, transformations, process chains).
• Develop and optimise ABAP routines in the BW environment.
• Analyse and resolve complex incidents and performance issues in close cooperation with the SAP BW platform owner.
• Act as a technical contact for IT projects, assessing reporting and data requirements and shaping suitable technical solutions.
• Share your knowledge within the team through pair programming, joint solution design or short knowledge‑sharing sessions, and ensure adherence to the company’s guidelines and standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong, verifiable hands‑on experience in SAP BW ABAP development.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong, verifiable hands‑on experience in SAP BW (or SAP BW/4
  
  HANA) backend development.
• Strong, verifiable hands‑on ABAP development skills in the BW context (complex routines, performance optimisation).
• Experience in taking ownership of BW development topics from analysis to stable operation.
• Enjoy working in a development team and acting as a go‑to person for specific topics, while staying close to hands‑on development.
• Strong conceptual insights and ability to shape solutions at a detailed, technical level.
• Independent, solution‑oriented way of working combined with a reliable, structured approach.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Team spirit, openness and willingness to share knowledge with colleagues.
