** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
** You will be responsible for creating, maintaining and extending serverless and containerized business-critical applications in JavaScript or Type Script. A typical application is a headless microservice for verification of the incoming data, transforming it from various formats to JSON representation for further processing, augmenting and unifying business processes, and integrating with third-party services. Key aspects of the developed solutions are performance, scalability, testability, reliability and future-proof architecture.

Your involvement and input will be expected at every stage of the software development process.

The role requires good level of understanding of business processes as the applications will typically be part of a larger solution including one or more of the following: ERP customization, RPA, AI, Data transformation, EDI or web services, and more.

This role involves working remotely, within a Global organisation, with occasional travel required to meet project needs or collaborate with teams.  You will work alongside Business Process Owners and IT delivery teams to co-create and deploy the solutions.  You will report to the Global Development Manager.
** As the Global Backend Developer , you*
* ** will:*
* * Be responsible for creating, maintaining and extending serverless and containerized business-critical applications in JavaScript or Type Script.
* Collaborate with Global IT and Global Development teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs
* Design, implement and deploy highly scalable solutions based on business requirements.
* Develop test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements and strict quality standards.
* Engage with stakeholders to conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation reviews
* Step-by-step debugging of the solutions in a 2nd line support.
** QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
**** The ideal Software Developer:
*** Has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Back-End/Full-Stack JavaScript Developer in a similar B2B environment.
* Writes clean, comprehensive, testable and well-documented code.
* Is experienced in developing distributed Node.js applications.
* Understands and has practical knowledge of an Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka, Rabbit

MQ, cloud-based event buses).
* Is proficient in English and one other European language (desirable)
* Has worked within an international setting.
