Accountant; m​/f​/d

We are looking for an Accountant (m/f/d) to join our team in Madrid!

• You will manage and support all accounting functions within the local subsidiaries
• You will assist in the month end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate information
• You will have full responsibility for a part of the ledger processes, as well as for bank reconciliations
• You will manage the coordination and collaboration with external consultants
• You will monitor the cash flow in all company subsidiaries and accounts
• You will manage bank accounts, AP and AR
• You will participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and controls
• You will manage the intercompany control of transactions
• You will assist with audits

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or related fields and would be available for a full-time position with us in Madrid
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field
• You are experienced working in an international and cross-functional organization and have monthly reporting experience.
• You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and are able to organize and plan accordingly in a changing work environment
• You are experienced with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process preparation
• You have strong analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, in order to analyze financial reports
• You are fluent in Spanish and English, French is desirable and will be highly valued
• Proficiency level of Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
