Overview
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric. He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of nursing practice.
Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LPN, CNA/PCT and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
WEEKEND SATURDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT SHIFT 6:45PM-7AM $10.00 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL/PART TIME
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct and indirect nursing care to patients 18 years and older to geriatric. Direct and supervise patient care during the shift. Apply the nursing process in care delivery. Ensure adherence to established standards of nursing practice. Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, CNAs/PCTs, and other care team members. Promote teamwork with physicians and other departments.
QualificationsCurrent RN license in Kentucky. BLS required at hire; ACLS within 90 days of hire. Experience in an acute care environment; critical care experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Kentucky
- ACLS within 90 days of hire (required to complete)
