RN Float Pool

Position: RN Float Pool - No Experience Required
36 hours per week

Night shift

Job Summary:

Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, nursing department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license. BCLS required. ACLS is preferred within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months. NIH Stroke Scale Certification required 3 months from date of hire. Avade workplace violence prevention training (Level III) required after hire, not to exceed 3 months, and maintained annually.

Training provided in-house.

* EXPERIENCE: No experience required for part time and full time employees. One year of RN experience in a recent hospital setting for PRN RN. Prefer at least 2 years Med/Surg experience.
