SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic 2nd Shift Plant Superintendent to lead operational excellence initiatives and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and engagement.

How YOU Will Contribute- Support regulatory and internal processes, including Employee and Plant Safety, Food Safety and Quality Initiatives, HR compliance, and Process Controls.
- Ensure completion of Red Zone initiatives utilizing Kaizens, DLMPs, and lean methodologies.
- Prevent Foreign Material (FM) incidents through process improvements and stability measures.
- Drive sustainability of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives.
- Champion process improvement and lean manufacturing activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and sustain change.
- Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics: production, yield, efficiencies, labor utilization, and financial results.
- Oversee implementation of CAPEX plans to support new business, profitability, and asset maintenance.
- Direct, coach, and develop a supervisory team to align work with long-term goals and company strategy.
- Set goals for direct reports in training, performance, and succession planning.
- Foster accountability through strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Collaborate with plant management and cross-functional teams to set direction and achieve results.
- Demonstrate cross-functional capability in supply chain, organizational excellence, finance, quality, and food safety.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, food science, meat science or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of operational/manufacturing experience, food industry preferred.
- Food manufacturing process preferred; supervisory/management experience required.
- 25% local and overnight travel required.
