Van Driver | Nursing Home Transportation | Part Time (30 hrs/week)

Location: Shared between 3 nursing home facilities

Schedule: Part Time | Approximately 30 hours per week

Position Type: Non Exempt

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Van Driver to safely transport nursing home residents to medical appointments, therapies, and community outings
. This role supports three affiliated facilities and plays a vital part in ensuring residents arrive on time, safely, and with dignity. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record
, strong customer service skills, and a heart for working with seniors.

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, dialysis, therapy sessions, and scheduled outings
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, including wheelchair and mobility assistance as needed
• Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and seatbelts according to safety standards
• Maintain accurate transportation logs and schedules
• Conduct pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections
• Keep the van clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition
• Communicate professionally with nursing staff, schedulers, residents, and families
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility policies
• Provide courteous, respectful, and patient-centered service at all times

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (required)
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
• Experience transporting seniors or individuals with mobility needs (preferred)
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and light physical support
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability
• Compassionate demeanor and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage routes across multiple facilities

• Parttime: approximately 30 hours per week
• Daytime hours with occasional flexibility based on appointment schedules
• Position is shared across three nursing home locations
