Responsibilities- Safely operate heavy trucks (side-loaders) designed to haul solid waste and recycling
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and document checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report)
- Work closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices
- Completely dump all trash/recycling and leave the customer's location clean and free of debris
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch on a daily basis
- Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch and assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs
- Previous experience in CDL truck driving or other related fields preferred
- Previous experience in the Waste Industry utilizing a CDL preferred (even higher pay rates available)
- CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Strong work ethic
