Maintenance Technician- Eleven41 & Valor Washington

Join Our Team As A Maintenance Technician in Madison & Sun Prairie, WI!

Do you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and helping create communities people are proud to call home? We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to support two properties located in Sun Prairie and Madison, WI.

The role supports Eleven
41 Main, a 64-unit community in Sun Prairie that participates in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, and Valor on Washington, a 59-unit Madison community that also operates under LIHTC while partnering with veteran-focused organizations such as Dry Hootch and Dane County Veteran Services.

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing unit turns and make‑ready requests.
• Conduct daily property walks and inspections to maintain safety, curb appeal, and cleanliness.
• Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and pool areas.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Support seasonal maintenance needs including snow removal and weather preparation.

• At least one year of property maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• HVAC EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and participate in an on‑call rotation.
