Job Responsibilities
- Prepare work site to locate utilities and eliminate possible hazards.
- Coordinate with signal operators to facilitate movement or alignment of equipment.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools.
- Excavate and fill trenches and ditches.
- Install underground telecommunications cable/innerduct.
- Follow safety standards throughout the process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- discurso; valid Class A CDL driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, walk, and lift/push/pull 50 pounds regularly for long periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in underground utilities with preference for installing fiber optic cables.
