At Oakbrook Corporation, we're looking for a Commercial Maintenance Technician who's not just good with tools - but great at taking ownership, staying ahead of the curve, and making buildings perform at their best.

What You'll Tackle
  • Preventative Maintenance
    :
    Stay ahead of breakdowns with scheduled HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and system upkeep.
  • Service Calls
    :
    Knock out tickets fast and clean - your experience means fewer callbacks and happier tenants.
  • Diagnostics & Repairs
    :
    Troubleshoot and fix complex issues across HVAC (including automation), electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Suite Turns
    :
    Prep commercial spaces for new tenants with repairs and system checks that meet Oakbrook's high standards.
  • Property Walks
    :
    Spot issues before they elevate - your eyes are trained to catch what others miss.
  • Exterior Maintenance
    :
    Keep grounds safe, clean, and professional.
  • On-Call Rotation
    :
    Share after-hours duty (about one week every 10 weeks).
What You Bring
  • 3+ years in commercial maintenance or facilities management
  • Solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
  • Experience with HVAC automation and commercial-grade equipment
  • Strong diagnostic, communication, and documentation skills
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
  • Valid driver's license and insurability under Oakbrook's provider
