POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Core Driller cores holes for pipe installation and passage on commercial multi-family construction sites, working independently within a team to improve installation efficiency.

COMPENSATION:

• Hourly wage is set between $23.00 and $25.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uses electric/gas saws and jackhammers to remove concrete slabs.
• Knows safe drilling and cutting locations to protect building structure.
• Can read and interpret mechanical, architectural, and structural plans.
• Uses wet and dry core machines to drill passages from 3/4" to 12" in diameter.
• Ability to properly maintain tools and equipment to prevent injuries or damage to tools or materials.
• Responsible for pre-planning and coordinating tool and material delivery to ensure everything is onsite when needed.

SCHEDULE:

• Four 10-hour days
• Overtime As Needed
• Year-Round Work

Requirements

-Must be tested for Fit Respirator Use

Licensing and Experience:

-Current Valid Driver's License

-High School Diploma or Equivalent
