Reliable Electric and Lighting is looking for a talented Commercial Superintendent with a solid Electrical background. The ideal person will be skilled in installations, maintenance, and repairs of high-level commercial retail stores. This highly professional Journeyman Electrician works under minimal supervision and can manage multiple stores.

Reliable Electric and Lighting was founded 29 years ago with the goal to meet the lighting maintenance and electrical service needs of diverse facilities, evolving from humble beginnings to a national provider with over 100 employees, 40 service vehicles, and aerial lifts.

Responsibilities:

• Install electrical wiring, circuits, panels, switches, lighting systems, and other electrical components in commercial buildings such as offices, retail stores, and industrial facilities.
• Identify wiring routes, equipment placements, and circuit configurations based on project specifications.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switches, breakers, and lighting systems.
• Replace faulty wiring, breakers, fuses, and other electrical components to restore system functionality.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues, providing immediate repairs to minimize downtime or safety risks.
• Ensure that all electrical work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance performed on electrical systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients, property managers, or building owners about the scope of work, electrical issues, and progress updates.
• This position does require overnight stays from time to time. Hotels are paid for and you receive per diem as well.

A Commercial Journeyman Electrician plays a key role in ensuring that commercial electrical systems are functional, efficient, and safe for the building's occupants and operations.

Education and Experience:

• Journeyman or Electrical License preferred or equivalent skills, experience, and knowledge

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours can vary but normally this is day work with on call rotations.

Must pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and have a clean driving record. A vehicle is issued to all our electricians.

-5+Years of Experience as a Journeyman Electrician

-Valid driver's license and clean driving record

-Must be authorized to work in the US.
