HVAC Service Technician - Commercial​/Industrial

Base Pay Range

$45.00/hr - $60.00/hr

We're seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join a well-established commercial and industrial mechanical services team. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a safety-first mindset, and is comfortable working in complex built environments. • Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, air handlers, boilers, and associated controls
• Support installation and retrofit projects as needed
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and execute repairs
• Respond to service calls, including emergency support, with professionalism and urgency
• Collaborate with project and service teams to ensure quality and timely completion of work
• Complete accurate documentation of service activities, parts usage, and time reporting
• Contribute to a strong safety culture by following protocols and reporting hazards

• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician in commercial/industrial environments
• EPA certification (Type I/II/III) and relevant technical certifications preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, and HVAC controls
• Comfortable with service documentation and basic digital tools
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites in the Madison area
• Union affiliation or interest in joining a union is required
