As a Field Service Technician you work with an exemplary team within Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, LLC. You will install, service, and calibrate high‑tech machinery, support the R&D team on design and testing, and assist production during assembly and setup.

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate high‑tech machines at customer locations.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with passion and dedication.
• Learn new skills on high‑tech Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using mechanical and electronic aptitude.
• Complete necessary administrative paperwork accurately.
• Work independently in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced, and innovative environment.
• Travel 90–100% within the service area, including international travel as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

• High school graduate or GED.
• AS/BS in Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, or military technical training, or 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
• Microsoft operating system knowledge.
• Capability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, including overtime.
• Ability to work in an industrial production shop floor environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems.
• Experience with CMM installation and troubleshooting (preferred but not required).
