Industrial Field Technician
Spartan Staffing Solutions has partnered with a leader in Industrial Cleaning Equipment to seek an Industrial Field Technician for their team in Madison, Wisconsin (Western Territory).
Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will provide exceptional customer service by troubleshooting equipment and delivering effective solutions to promote a cleaner, safer environment. Your responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing products at customer facilities, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality communication and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and engines on various products.Manage service schedules, customer calls, maintenance, and breakdowns efficiently.Maintain detailed records of all service activities and reports.Manage inventory to optimize stock levels and reduce unnecessary trips.Communicate preventative maintenance schedules and future service needs to customers.Estimate repair requirements and prepare quotes accurately.Ensure the safe use and maintenance of company property, including trucks, tools, and equipment.Collaborate with sales teams on customer applications and equipment replacements.Present a professional image and contribute to territory management and customer alignment.Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.At least two years of experience troubleshooting and repairing mobile equipment.Experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and engines.Customer service experience in a technical environment.Ability to work independently and safely with tools and diagnostic devices.Basic computer skills, including MS Office and proprietary systems.Good communication skills and a customer-centric approach.Valid driver’s license and adherence to company driving policies.This position offers comprehensive benefits from day one, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid holidays and vacation, and career growth opportunities.
