Work Schedule: 100% FTE, Evening/Night shift. Hours are from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday through Friday with an on‑call weekend rotation schedule. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, assign, and evaluate the activities of shift personnel, ensuring adherence to department and UW Health policies and procedures.
  • Plan daily assignments and conduct daily briefings for security operations.
  • Assess shift personnel and equipment needs.
  • Assist with shift operations as needed.
  • Cover as supervisor at University Hospital as needed.

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
  • Associate's Degree in related field – Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field – Preferred
Work Experience
  • 2 years relevant work‑related experience – Required
  • 5 years hospital security/supervision experience – Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License – Required
  • Completion of IAHSS Supervisor Certification within 6 months – Required
  • Must be 21 years of age to drive UW Health Fleet vehicle and must be 25 years of age to drive a UW Health vehicle rated for 15 or more passengers. Ability to be insured by Hospital’s risk management insurer requires a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and successfully passing a driving background check.
