Pro-Active Engineering, a Tide Rock portfolio company, is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead and scale sales across a multi-site Electronics Manufacturing Services platform. This role is a senior commercial leadership position focused on professionalizing, integrating and operating sales.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Sales will be responsible for aligning sales strategy, pricing discipline, forecasting rigor, and customer development across Pro-Active Engineering and its related businesses. This leader will play a critical role in driving sustainable, profitable growth in complex, high-reliability markets.

Pro-Active Engineering is a leading integrated EMS provider with more than 27 years of experience supporting customers through design engineering, PCBA, box build, finishing, and supply chain management. The company specializes in low-to-medium volume, high-mix, highly engineered electronics, serving customers in aerospace & defense, medical, industrial communications, LED lighting, and scientific markets.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead and integrate sales across a multi-site EMS organization, aligning teams, processes, and operating cadence
  • Establish and execute a unified sales strategy in partnership with the CEO and leadership team
  • Drive pricing strategy, margin discipline, and deal structure across complex prototype-to-production programs
  • Oversee long-cycle, engineering-led sales motions from initial engagement through production ramp
  • Build forecast accuracy, pipeline visibility, and sales KPIs to support predictable growth
  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, and production to align customer commitments with manufacturing capabilities
  • Build, coach, and lead a scalable sales organization that balances new logo development with long-term account growth
What We’re Looking For:
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in EMS, electronics manufacturing, PCBA, or closely related industries
  • Proven success leading sales in multi-site, complex manufacturing environments, including integration of teams and processes
  • Deep understanding of PCBA, box build, and value-added manufacturing services
  • Experience selling into aerospace & defense and/or high-reliability industrial markets strongly preferred
  • Track record managing long, complex sales cycles and enterprise customer relationships
  • Strong background in pricing strategy, margin management, and commercial rigor
  • Experience building sales operating cadence, forecasting discipline, and KPI-driven execution
