As a Paint Store Manager, you will monitor operations and profitability, provide support to the store as needed, and ensure exceptional customer service. • Recruit, train, and supervise a high‑performing store team.
• Maintain inventory levels, control losses, and manage expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company policies (ADA, EEOC, Workers’ Compensation, Wage & Hour, Sexual Harassment, etc.).
• Prepare and submit accurate paperwork, reports, and merchandising documents.
• Provide professional and timely customer service, resolving issues efficiently.
• Develop new accounts, increase sales of current accounts, and support outside sales calls.
• Manage day‑to‑day operational activities, including opening/closing procedures, merchandising, and material handling (able to lift at least 50 pounds).

• Two or four‑year college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior management experience in a retail or sales environment.
• Experience with paint and/or coatings products.
• Strong financial planning and management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years retail experience, preferably in the painting industry.
• Background in inside sales.
• Ability to work 45‑50 hours per week.

Salary: $55,000–$75,000 per year depending on experience.
