• Handle and transport non-human primates (rhesus macaques) for research purposes
• Set up studies and conduct behavioral observations
• Perform data analysis and maintain accurate records
• Monitor animal health and well-being
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful research outcomes

• Current undergraduate student at UW-Madison, preferably in Freshman or Sophomore status
• Interest in the biological basis of fear and anxiety in rhesus macaques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Comfortable working with animals, especially non-human primates
• Availability during the summer of 2026

• Basic understanding of biological and experimental procedures
• Willingness to learn new skills related to experimental studies and animal handling
• Good communication skills and a teamwork orientation
• Highly motivated to learn and contribute to research efforts
