- Prepare and handle biological and chemical samples and reagents to facilitate complex instrument setup.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of laboratory supplies, including inventory tracking, ordering, and stocking consumables.
- Maintain rigorous laboratory cleanliness and perform routine maintenance on specialized instrumentation.
- Execute hazardous waste bulking and disposal procedures in strict accordance with safety protocols.
- Ensure all laboratory duties are performed following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety and data integrity.
- Collaborate with the synthesis team to troubleshoot equipment and optimize daily workflow efficiency.
- Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry). - Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated experience with laboratory techniques and equipment (via coursework, internships, or professional experience). - Compliance:
Proven ability to follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complete rigorous safety training. - Physical Capability:
Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. as required for laboratory material handling. - Core Competencies:
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings.
- Experience with reagent preparation and chemical inventory management.
- Familiarity with high-throughput laboratory environments or synthesis platforms.
- Previous experience handling hazardous waste disposal in a laboratory setting.
