Lab Assistant

3rd shift:
Sunday-Thursday 7pm-3am

Base pay: $16/hr with 12% differential ($17.92/hr)

As a Lab Assistant in the Water Soluble Vitamins team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory by assisting with various tasks. You will work in a dynamic environment, adhering to GMP/GLP regulations, and contribute to maintaining a safe and clean laboratory.

• Assist laboratory personnel to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Weigh and dispose of samples upon completion.
• Place pipettes in the washer and put away clean glassware and pipettes.
• Wash stoppers and maintain a clean laboratory workspace.
• Conduct all activities safely and efficiently.
• Work under GMP/GLP regulations.
• Perform tasks related to microbiological assays, including pipetting.
• Develop skills for future roles involving robotics instrumentation and HPLC work.
• Measure turbidity and record results.

• High school diploma.
• Experience in fast-paced environments such as food service, bartending, or retail.
• Proficiency in pipetting.
• Strong time management skills and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.

• Experience in microbiology, biology, chemistry, or biochemistry.
• Interest in developing skills for microbiology assays and manual laboratory work.
• Potential for growth into roles involving HPLC and other advanced technologies.

You will work in a fast-paced lab setting with approximately 400 employees at the site. This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.

The pay range for this position is $17.92 - $17.92/hr.
