We’re seeking Animal Care Technicians to join our team! If you’re passionate about animal welfare and eager to start a career in life sciences, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. No experience? No problem—we provide hands-on training to help you succeed.
As an Animal Care Technician, you’ll provide essential care and support for research animals. Your responsibilities include:
Feed and care for all species within the animal facility.
Change soiled cages and bedding; clean and sanitize animal pens and rooms.
Operate cage washers and tunnel washers; maintain sanitation records.
Remove waste and bedding from animal pans.
Document all cleaning and sanitation practices accurately.
Observe animals daily for health and report any concerns.
Assist with record keeping, inventory, and laundry tasks.
Pay &
Schedule:
Pay Range: $18/hr.–$19/hr. plus 5% shift differential.
Training: 4–6 weeks, 6:30 AM–3:15 PM CST.
Full-time day shift:
Start between 6:00–8:00 AM; weekends/holidays required.

Requirements:
Must be 18+ and able to read/write English.
Overtime and weekend work required.
Preferred: High school diploma, 6–12 months animal care or related experience.
