• Perform garden tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and watering
• Monitor garden areas and conduct surveys related to pollinators
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness
• Assist in maintaining displays of native plant materials
• Enter data and maintain photo archives from pollinator surveys

• Must be enrolled as a student for the fall 2026 semester
• Valid driver s license that meets UW Risk Management standards
• Willingness to work around pollinators, including bees and butterflies
• Reliable and able to work well with staff, interns, and volunteers
• Ability to safely use gardening tools and wear proper safety equipment

• Experience in identifying Wisconsin native plants and weeds
• Previous experience working in garden or landscaping environments
