80% FTE, Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts with rotating start times between the hours of 5:30am – 9:00am. No holidays, weekends, on-call or overnights. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at the Madison Surgery Center in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Pre/Post/PACU to:
Deliver comprehensive perioperative and peri anesthesia care across several surgical specialties, including ENT, Cataracts, Pain, Hand, Foot, Ortho (scopes), General, and some GYN.
Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients by preparing them for surgery. This includes Perioperative Checklists, IV placement and Medication Administration.
Provide care in the Outpatient PACU. Critical care experience preferred.
Develop a therapeutic relationship to enable the patient and family to verbalize understanding of post-surgical care and discharge teaching.

- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- 6 months of RN experience Required
- Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations Preferred
- Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience Preferred
- Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience Preferred
- 1 year or more of RN experience Preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Upon Hire Required
