80% FTE, Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No holidays or call. Hours may vary based on department needs.
Be part of something remarkableAs an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play an integral role in building and expanding a virtual primary care program. You'll be part of ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients both in person and virtually.
PositionWe are seeking a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to:
- Be a part of a virtual care team expanding access to primary care through telehealth visits
- Care for the acute and chronic needs of patients from newborn to elderly.
- Perform physical exams and manage the health maintenance needs of our family medicine population.
- Perform routine clinical procedures independently including wart removal, PAP smears and skin lesion removals.
- If Nurse Practitioner:
Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program. - If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Required:
Two (2) years of relevant clinical experience
Minimum:
State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice and
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following:
Family.
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice and
- Active PA board certification
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have:
Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
- Master's Degree or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (Upon Hire)
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice:
Adult;
Adult/Gerontology Acute Care;
Adult/Gerontology Primary Care;
Emergency;
Family;
Gerontology;
Neonatal;
Pediatric Acute Care;
Pediatric Primary Care;
Psychiatric-Mental Health; or Women's Health (Upon Hire) - Active DEA license or ability to apply for license prior to or upon hire (Required)
